Nets of 3d shapes is a completely interactive lesson for KS2 learners. In this lesson, learners will:
- use their knowledge of 2-D and 3-D shapes to identify three-dimensional shapes from their nets;
- they will recognise that a net is a two-dimensional figure that can be folded to create a three-dimensional shape; and
- they will use measuring tools and conventional markings to draw nets of 3d shapes accurately.
Teachers can use the lesson for whole-class teaching and as well as at home by learners.
There are lots of drag and drop activities as well as instant feedback.
The lesson contains 37 interactive pages.
